The RAM-B-247U-3 consists of a 3" clamp base with 1" ball, and is an ideal clamping base for square posts up to 3" in width. 

It includes a B size 1" rubber ball that allows for connection to any B size RAM double socket arm, and the ball and socket technology allows for near-infinite adjustability.
